What are Oxleaze Farm doing to make a difference:
Our Aberdeen Angus Cattle are 100% pasture-fed, slowly and extensively reared, to enhance the eating experience
Fed on grasses rich in chicory and sainfoin
35 acres of species rich semi natural grasslands (equivalent to 17 football pitches)
A long-term project for carbon sequestration. We have planted 30,000 new trees, and 26,000 hedging plants
Oxleaze Farm holds membership and accreditation with the leading associations for organic farming and conservation to ensure welfare of our animals
All heating and hot water for Oxleaze Farm comes from our biomass boiler, with locally sourced wood chip (50% from our own woodland) and solar which supplies green electricity to 24 commercial and residential properties on the farm.
